Carnita's Snack Shack is a favorite for all things pork: chicharrones (fried pork skin), pork belly , a triple-threat pork sandwich (pork loin schnitzel, pulled pork, and bacon) and pork tacos. Sometimes it features specials like a smoke bacon-wrapped hot dog and gives a portion of the profits to the San Diego LGBT Community Center's Hillcrest Youth Center. It has three locations: North Park (11 am - 11 pm), Embarcadero (9 am - 9 pm) and Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres.
