The Chinese New Year Parade was named one of the top ten parades in the world by IFEA, and they've certainly had time to perfect it, as it's been a staple of the city scene since the 1860s. The 200-ft red-and-gold dragon that leads the parade is only part of the fun, which also includes dragon dancers and entrants in the Miss Chinatown pageant.
