Brava Theater in the Mission is owned by Brava! for Women in the Arts, an award-winning organization dedicated to promoting the female voices that might otherwise go unheard. Housed in a 1920s former movie theater, the venue has been completely rejuvenated, with large, comfortable seats and a killer line-up of women playwrights, poets, comics, and educational speakers.
