For over 30 years La Taqueria in the Mission has been something of an institution with local foodies, who praise the "traditional" burritos--this means no rice to you heathens out there--spicy tacos, and fast, efficient service. Prices are dirt-cheap and lines are long, but fast-moving. There's not much seating, so keep your eye on the tables while you wait in line or be prepared to eat your carne asada standing up. Open Mon - Sat 11 a.m. - 9 p.m., Sun 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
