DC Eagle, a historic leather bar, has its roots in the 1960s when some bikers and leathermen got together over dinner in a bar across from the FBI headquarters. The latest location off I-295 is a little tougher to find and a chain-link fence limits parking when you do. Worth the effort, particularly on weekends, it has cold beer, pool and TV sports downstairs, a deck for savoring cigars and an upstairs dance floor - the Eagle in Exile. Rich in tradition, its Mr. DC Eagle Contest is the longest running leather title contest in the US. Check the website for detailed directions and special events before you go.
