This U St. Corridor sandwich joint serves Italian subs from the counter for lunch and a four course tasting menu with table service at night.  Both meals are worth a try, but the sandwiches are so fantastic you might still be full at dinnertime.  Pick up a couple of meatball subs and take them to Meridian Hill Park, three blocks over, where you can eat them with a fabulous view of the city.
