The African Music Store is where to find African CDs and traditional music instruments as well as DVD documentaries, crafts, curios and clothing. Opened on busy Long Street over a decade ago, it features pop, gospel, reggae, jazz, traditional music, soul, RnB, kwaito, hip hop, lounge, rock and African lullabies for children, preserving traditional genres that are dying out and promoting new local artists.
