The pedestrians-only Quiamen Street, running south from Tiananmen Square, has been rebuilt to match photos from the 1920s and 1930s. It has international brands like Sephora, popular restaurants serving Peking Duck, traditional shops and some 50 courtyards and hutongs listed as Chinese heritage sites.
