Silk Street Market

Silk Street Market

Chaoyang
  • Commercial Center

The Silk Street Market - with a reputation for counterfeit luxury goods - is a shopping center that replaced the alleys of the old Xiushui Market in 2005. It has over 1,700 vendors on seven floors with three basement levels. It is said to be the third most visited tourist attraction in Beijing. Just go on the weekend if you have any doubts. Before you load up on knock-offs, remember that customs agents in many countries are on the look out for counterfeit goods.
