A fun place to wander, but if you don't to get lost or miss the maor sights, you can go on a half-day walking tour that will take you to the Wet Market (fresh meat and vegetables), Fa Yuen Street Market (clothing) and markets for flowers, birds, goldfish and jade. The tour ends at the Tin Hau Temple.
