Topping the list of London icons is Tower Bridge, a magnificent bascule and suspension structure, secured by two imposing towers. Traffic and pedestrians are allowed across the deck, and on the South side is the modern complex of buildings including the glass egg-shaped Town Hall. To the North is the medieval Tower of London with the Crown Jewels of England. The Tower Bridge Exhibition grants access to the breathtaking views from the top, a glass floor room over the river and the Victorian Engine Rooms.
