The Chat Noir Design Hotel is done up in red, white and black, colors to match iconic posters Art Nouveau artist Théophile Steinlen did for Le Chat, the world's first cabaret. The cabaret is long gone, but the hotel occupies the site of its last address. Next door to Le Moulin Rouge and opposite the Blanche Metro, it is well located for exploring Montmartre and beyond. The daily open-air food market on Rue Blanche is good for photo ops, picnic shopping and coffee at a sidewalk café. The Musee de l'Erotisme is just down the block.
