Taking its cue from the building's history as a Belle Époque pleasure house, Hôtel Maison Souquet has created a deliciously decadent fantasy setting in the classic townhouse with a Moorish feel in its Mille et Une Nuits lounge. The 20 rooms and suites are called "love nests" and named after a famous courtesans. Each has a different decor, but all have Hermès toiletries and perfume. The spa and its 33-foot (10-meter) pool, are tucked away in a secret corner under a celestial ceiling, accessible only by hotel guests who request a key. Just south of the Blanche Metro, it is walking distance to the attractions of Montmartre and Pigalle and only a few stops from the Champs Elysées. Look for the twin red lights at the entrance.
