One of the last buildings to remain its glorious dilapidated self despite the gentrification of Kastienallee, Tutenhaus is a historic communal housing project, which was occupied by homosexual activists in the 1980s who created a safe haven for gay men. A newer addition to the facade protest of rising rent prices, are the words "Capitalism normalizes, destroys, kills."
