The Glyptothek is Ludwig I's little neoclassical sculpture gallery, where he kept his Greek and Roman statues, and Munich's oldest public museum. There are niches and columns and sculptures galore, including the exhibitionist reclining Barberini Faun, but one will have to rely on old photographs to see the frescoes that did not survive the war.
