First appearing in 2015, the Molyvos International Music Festival aims to bring together chamber music professionals the world over for a three-day event every third week of August. Molyvos - also known as Mithymna - is one of the most beautiful villages on the island of Lesvos, and the inaugural festival was a great success, with people gathering for workshops and street events geared towards making classical music accessible to everyone. Tickets range from $7 to $35, but many events are free.
