Owned and operated by women, including the current mayor of Skala Eressos, Karavogiannos Tavern serves organic produce, local meats and a variety of seafood. Everything but the fish is sourced from the restaurant's farm, where the plants and animals are tended with care. The lambchops are a guaranteed win for meat lovers, and the stuffed tomatoes and grape leaves are amazing; don't miss the warm salad of greens foraged from the hills around the village. The decor is a bit dated, but the food more than makes up for it.
