The adults-only Ibo Alfaro is a 150-year-old manor house tastefully restored in the late 1990s. It offers 17 rooms and suites, a TV lounge, a pleasant dining area and and a terrace for sunbathing. A 10-minute drive from Garajonay National Park, it has a hiking trail steps from the door. Only breakfast is served, but Hermigua restaurants are a short walk downhill.
