All that glitters is gold at the Gold Museum, which boasts the world's largest collection of pre-Columbian gold objects. A highlight of the collection is the Muisca Raft piece recalling the El Dorado legend. The museum also has ceramics, stonework, textiles and a sound-and-light show recreating a shamanic ceremony. Admission is nominal. Sundays are free but so crowded no tours are given. Free tours in Spanish and English are offered Tuesday through Saturday. Check website for hours. A restaurant and shop are on the main floor.
