El Deán, also known as Liberación Park, covers 64 acres (26 ha). Landscaped with many mature trees, it has an artificial lake, a cycle track, recreational facilities, an antique train and games for adults and children. It is known as one of the "lungs" of Guadalajara but has recently fallen somewhat in disrepair.
