Playa Majahuitas, on the south end of Bahia de Banderas between the town of Quimixto and the fishing village of Yalapa, backs up on the jungle and has white sand beaches, undersea caves and a small eco-resort. The Chacala indigenous community owns the beach, which can only be reached by boat from the pier at Los Muertos Beach or farther south at Boca de Tomatlán.
