Isla Grande is a small island within the Portobelo National Park about nine miles off shore from Portobelo in the Caribbean. It is good for snorkeling, scuba diving and surfing waves breaking over a sharp coral bottom. Reached by boat from the town of La Guaira, the Sister Moon Eco Lodge has 11 rustic cottages, individual rooms and dorms of eight beds each for male and female backpackers. It also offers a $20 day pass for use of the pool or surfing.
