It's a dog's life at the Dog Beach at the end of Alberta Street about a half dozen blocks from the Higgs Beach Dog Park. They're free to fetch and splash in the water here. Then you can both go next door to the Afterdeck Bar at Louie's Backyard that's been a dining favorite on the ocean since 1971. Pets are welcomed there.
