Los Angeles Dyke Day is an annual queer inclusive Pride festival begun in 2007 as an alternative to LA Pride. By 2015, it had outgrown Barsdall Art Park in East Hollywood and moved to Elysian Park, the city's oldest and second largest public park, where more than 600 dykes, their families and their allies celebrated with DJs, dancing, body painting, a water balloon toss, food and ice cream trucks and children's activities.
