Huron Substation

Northeast Los Angeles
  • Cultural & Historical
Recommended for: Local Flavor

The Los Angeles Railway Huron Substation is a historic cultural monument because it is the second oldest surviving substation in a system that powered the "Yellow Cars" trolleys in the dawning days of the 20th century. The site with its raw brick walls, soaring ceiling and outdoor garden is a favorite for weddings, fashion photo shoots, TV series and films.
