Broken Spanish is the flagship restaurant of Chef Ray Garcia, the award-winning LA native who headed the Fig kitchen for six years. He is big on healthy eating and locally grown produce in his tamales and tortillas and mains like rabbit, red snapper and fried pork bellies (Chicharron). He adds three percent to the check to help cover employees' health insurance, but you can ask to have it removed.
