Founded in 1992, the Japanese American National Museum preserves the history and culture of Japanese Americans. Its permanent exhibition explores 130 years of Japanese American history through hundreds of objects, documents and photographs. It also stages special exhibits and events, including walking tours of Little Tokyo. Admission is free every Thursday from 5 pm to 8 pm and all day every third Thursday of the month.
