Recommended for: Luxury

Gay innkeepers Thomas Bantle and Tom Skirk purchased White Porch Inn in 2007 and have made it a welcome part of the guesthouse community. Comprised of a main Victorian house and neighboring carriage house, the inn is clutter-free and eminently comfortable, with goose-down duvets, pillow-top mattresses and a beachy decor. Several of the nine rooms are suites and come with fireplaces and spa tubs. Equally lovely is the large porch for which the Inn is named, where guests are encouraged to hang their hat and watch the day go by.
