Old Colony Tap

Bar in Downtown Center
  • LGBTQ-friendly
  • Bar

This is one of the only bars in P-town where you're likely to run into fishermen fresh from the boat for their end-of-shift drink, and that's really what makes it so special. There's no karaoke, no drag brunch and no bachelorette parties, but they do have whale bones on the wall, dim lights and a sense of grumpy conviviality. Bartenders serve basic mixed drinks and a few beers on tap. Bonus: they are open until 1 am every night including Sundays.

As it's the best liquor store around, Perry's is something of a rite of passage in P-town - anyone throwing a party or needing a choice bottle of wine for a dinner party will come through here. But it...
