Albert Merola is one of the best-known art galleries in Provincetown, and if you only have time to visit one, most P-town experts will direct you here. It's been open on Commercial Street since the 1980s and has made brisk business selling the work of local artists past and present. Prices might be a bit steep for most, but spend a half-hour or so soaking in the art, and you'll have a better understanding of the role it plays in this community. Closed mid-October to March.
