If you're in need of an introduction to the history and layout of the town, look no further than the Provincetown Trolley, a guided ride offering all sorts of interesting tidbits about local history and culture. The energy is high on these trips, with lots of interactive joking, and the riders on any given day will range from drag queens to visiting seniors. The tour is 40 minutes long and runs from Commercial Street through the art district, harbor, bay and National Seashore Park. Ticket prices vary depending on the season but are reasonable.
