This small, luxury, eight screen Cinema specializes in indie, foreign, and documentary films. Located in Penn Quarter it's a convenient stop after a day of sightseeing. The concession stand is the best in DC, serving beer and wine by the bottle along with espresso, gourmet snacks, and fresh popcorn.  Monthly midnight screenings of Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Room and Troll 2 are always fun. Another plus: it's below ground so there's no cell phone service and no rude interruptions.
