Congee, a sort of rice gruel comfort food, and noodles are often served on the same menu in small Chinese eateries. Congee and Noodle Shop, anointed by Michelin as a comer, has a wide variety of congee and Guangdon-style noodles as well as Claypot rice. A favorite with local celebrities, the shop is owned by a former apprentice of the famous Ah Yat, the nickname of Master Chef Yeung Koon Yat, owner of The Forum Restaurant in Causeway Bay.
