Set in a charming 19th-century building in the Center City, Ibsens is a friendly, family-run hotel with good word-of-mouth. Rates are very reasonable for its central location - Torvehallerne Food Market and plenty of gay nightlife are within walking distance - but the rooms are small and occasionally noisy. The lobby area is both bar and breakfast room, and there are two good restaurants on site.
