Less crowded than Flaucher Beach, the tree-filled Isarinsel Oberföhring is another island in the Isar that makes for a nice day of riverside grilling and relaxing. Between the Herzog-Heinrich-Brücke and the pedestrian bridge that goes into the Englischer Garten is an area for Free Body Culture enthusiasts.
