Forty minutes by ferry from Ibiza, is the paradisiacal Formentera, much smaller and slower than its sister island. Scooter, bicycles and cars may be easily rented on the island, or bigger ferries can accommodate motorbikes on board. Fast catamarans depart Ibiza Port every half hour in high season with room for over 200 passengers.

Ibiza is not complete without a visit to Formentera. From the main port you can catch a quick ferry to the island, during summer they leave every hour or so. When you arrive at the port of Formentera, there are plenty of cars,scooters or bikes to hire. Although the island is small it's recommendable to hire a little car or scooter to get around during the hot months.
