Established in 1985, the James Joyce Foundation pays homage to the Dublin writer, who lived, died and wrote Ulysses in Zurich. It has the largest European collection of his writings, first edition novels, personal artifacts and even one of four circulating death masks. There are regular readings, the occasional lecture, annual workshops and tours of Joyce's Zurich on demand.
