Just off of Via Veneto in El Cangrejo, The Wine Bar has been a Panama City standard since it opened in 2000, one of several restaurants from Willy Diggelman, a Swiss-born chef who arrived to Panama in 1977. There are over 200 wines, which can be accompanied by cheese plates, focaccias, pizzas and mains, along with live music most nights. Next door is Diggelman's Pomodoro, which has a nice garden terrace.
