At the Punta Cuelbra Nature Center on the Amador Causeway, two trails cut through a tropical dry forest, a refuge for raccoons, iguanas, armadillos and tropical birds, The center has bilingual interactive exhibitions and a pool of sea turtles and sharks. Guides are Smithsonian Institution naturalists. Closed Mondays, its hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. other weekdays and to 6 pm on weekends and school holidays. Admission is $5, $1 for children under 12.
