October is the perfect time to celebrate the annual apple harvest, and The University of British Columbia's Botanical Garden has been doing just that for nearly three decades. You'll be able to taste a variety of heritage apples along with the best apple sauce, apple butter and apple pastries in the region. The event runs for two days on the third weekend of October. $5 admission for adults; children under 12 are free.
