The Oleta River State Park on Biscayne Bay in North Miami is the state's largest urban park with off-road bicycle trails, canoeing, kayaking, salt-water fishing and a white-sand crescent beach, Canoes, kayaks and bikes can be rented at the Blue Moon Outdoor Center. Covering about 1,000 acres, it is open 8 a.m. to sunset. Pedestrians and cyclists pay $2 entry. A flat-fee of $6 for autos with 2 to 8 passengers, $4 for a single occupant or motorcycle.
