Cartoon Art Museum

SoMa

A grant from American treasure and Peanuts creator Charles M. Schultz was the spark that started the Cartoon Art Museum, and it's grown into a highly respected chronicle of the cartoon arts. R Crumb, Kal Kallagher, and Edward Gorey are just a few of the artists on display, and the museum also hosts lectures led by luminaries of the community, including collectors, Pixar studio heads, and Marvel illustrators. Tickets are $8. Open Tue-Sun 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
