The expansive Greek- and Turkish-influenced menu at Zaytinya is matched by the size of the lively and kid-friendly three-storey interior.  The perfect place to bring a group after touring the nearby National Portrait Gallery, dishes served by the enthusiastic staff come in the form of mezze,or small plates.  There is just as much to please vegetarians as carnivores: try the white beans with kale, feta-stuffed squash blossoms, and lamb phyllo pie. The wine list has some interesting choices from the region and their mixed drinks are equally as good.
