Completely renovated in 2005, the Avenue Hotel is housed in a historic brick townhouse and offers great value for the price. Don't expect too many bells and whistles in the 68 rooms - while clean and airy they're modest in terms of extras - but they do have free Wi-Fi, mini fridges, and cable TV. The location in Frederiksberg is a bit out of the way, but the hotel offers bicycles for rent, making for a pleasant trip into the city center.
