On a street with plenty of restaurants and bars, the 37-room Le Standard Design Hotel is a short walk from the gayborhood of Le Marais and close to three Metro stations, including the Bastille hub. The black-and-white decor in the small guest rooms is minimalist with Japanese-inspired motifs. Free coffee is available in the lobby, but no coffee- or tea-making facilities in the rooms.
