Parc Monceau is a hidden jewel among Paris parks. It is the neighborhood park for the upper-class 17th arrondissement, good for people watching and strolling or jogging through the beautifully landscaped grounds. It also has a children's playground and crepe stand. Not to miss is the Musée Nissim de Camondo just outside the eastern gate of the park. Part of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, the mansion and its art collection were bequeathed by a wealthy Jewish banker who had emigrated from Istanbul at the turn of the 20th century. Admission is free.
