Designed by Italian architect Renzo Piano, the Paul Klee Center is composed of three undulating steel and glass hills rising out of a green island on the city's outskirts. Dedicated to 20th century Bernese artist Paul Klee, the center not only displays his works in rotating exhibitions, but hosts a variety concerts, theater, dance, readings, conferences and children's activities.
