Founded by Mexican painter Rufino Tamayo in the early 1980s and the first major museum in Mexico built with private funds, this contemporary art museum has five halls in modular buildings that appear to rise out of the surrounding Chapultepec Park. Inside are international contemporary art exhibitions and art from the collection of Rufino Tamayo, as well as a newer fine dining restaurant. Admission is free on Sundays.

Wonderful small museum that you can see in roughly half an hour. Or whole days if Tamayo is really your passion.
