The gay-friendly El Apartamento/El Sotano is the only bar in town without a sign, but it's easy to find in a two-story party house on Avenida Federico Boyd near the Intercontinental Hotel and next to a balloon shop. The art-filled El Apartamento has a bohemian air and Panamanian-Asian fusion cuisine. El Sotano is the downstairs entertainment space with live music and private events.
