An IGLTA member, Cellars-Hoenort Hotel & Spa is a former 18th century wine estate whose vineyards still produce only 15 minutes from the city center. The late Liz McGrath created a Relais & Châteaux showcase with a Gary Player-designed putting and chipping green and two prize-winning restaurants - The Conservatory and The Greenhouse, the latter under the direction of Peter Tempelhoff, a Relais & Châteaux Grand Chef. Its 52 rooms have mountain or garden views. Guests can also enjoy the Fresh Wellness Spa, a large heated pool, tennis courts and leisurely walks through the vineyards and gardens.
